A woman hit while walking on Talbot Trail near Blenheim Wednesday night has died in hospital.
Police say the 53-year-old Blenheim woman, whose name is not being released at the request of next of kin, suffered serious injuries when she was hit by a vehicle about 10 p.m. Wednesday on Talbot Trail near Fargo Road.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital in Chatham and transferred to London due to the severity of her injuries.
She died the following morning.
The traffic management unit continues to investigate what happened.
