It was a speedy weekend for drivers along the 401, but several got slowed to a stop for seven days.
Chatham-Kent OPP report nabbing three drivers who were clocked going more than 150 km/h along the highway.
On Sept. 2 at about 2:45 a.m., the first speedster zipped through a radar trap near Charing Cross Road at more than 160 km/h, police say. A 20-year-old Brampton man faces stunt driving charges.
Later that day, a 26-year-old Blenheim man received a similar ticket. Police say about 5:15 p.m. near the Duart Road overpass, officers clocked his vehicle doing more than 150 km/h.
And on Monday at about midnight, a 20-year-old London man was westbound near the Scane Road overpass when officers nabbed him going more than 150 km/h.
All three had their licences suspended and car impounded for a week.
