The Chatham Canada Day Committee recently donated $500 to YMCA for the Strong Kids Program.
“The Y was very generous in allowing us meeting space over the past year,” committee co-chair Don Keikens said in a release. “Luckily we finished the year in a position to give something back that will help kids in the community.
The cheque for $500 was presented by Keikens, along with committee treasurer Kevin Neill, and was accepted by Chris Prince and Morgan Jones on behalf of the Y.
