What appears to be a gardening dispute in Chatham led to charges Sunday night.
Chatham-Kent police say a man went into his neighbour’s yard about 7:40 p.m. Sunday, and held a gardening tool close to the woman, threatening her with it.
She went into her home and called police.
A 55-year-old Chatham man is charged with uttering threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
