In the middle of a bright, beautiful, sunny day, it seems someone decided to try to strip wire from a hydro pole in the heart of Chatham.
Someone saw a man trying to do just that near the intersection of Raleigh and Cross streets, and called police.
A 39-year-old Chatham man is charged with mischief.
