Cops looking for man in Chatham

Police are looking for the public’s help after two girls were approached by a stranger in Chatham.

Yesterday morning around 8:00 a.m., two 11-year-old girls were walking to school when they were approached by a man, unknown to them, on Gladstone Ave.  The man, who was riding a black mountain bike with white lettering on the frame, briefly spoke with the girls and followed them until they crossed the street.  He was last seen riding his bike southbound on Delaware Ave.

The man is described as white, in his late 20’s with a medium build.  He had black hair and was unshaven.  He was last seen wearing a black & red touque, brown jacket, white shirt, blue jeans and carrying a hiking backpack.
