Mini bike driver injured in crash

dufferin accidentThe driver of a mini bike was injured after a collision this morning just outside of Wallaceburg.

Around 6:40 a.m., Chatham-Kent OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a pick-up truck and an off road mini bike on Dufferin Ave. east of Highway 40. Both vehicles were traveling westbound when they collided.

The driver of the mini bike was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the pick truck was not injured.

OPP Traffic Collision Investigators (TCI) are currently on scene investigating the collision.

Dufferin Avenue between Arnold Road and Walnut Drive will be closed for approximately 4 hours.  Motorists will have to find alternative routes.
