Chatham police updated information on the fatal house fire in Wallaceburg Tuesday.
Just before 4:00 a.m., emergency crews responded to a residential fire on Nelson Street where one person was found deceased in the apartment.
With the assistance of the Coroner’s Office and Ontario Fire Marshall’s Office, there is no evidence at this time to lead police to believe the fire is suspicious or foul play was involved.
