Winter coat drive under way

The Chatham-Kent United Way recently held its “Coats for Coffee” event where donors exchange a gently used coat to be used in Operation Cover Up for a cup of coffee.

Coats can be donated from now through the end of November at the following locations during regular business hours.

In Blenehim at the Salvation Army Food Bank (Wed. & Thurs. 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.) or at the

Blenheim Baptist Church, 24 Talbot Street East.

In Chatham, at the Salvation Army, in Dresden at McBrayne Feed and Supply, in Ridgetown at the Salvation Army.

The place to drop coats in Thamesville is Vivian Cleaners, in Tilbury it’s the Tilbury Information and HELP Centre and in Wallaceburg the location is the Salvation Army.
