Renowned corporate and personal development consultant Michael Caruso arrives in Chatham next week to share his insights on “How to Engage Someone in 15 Seconds.”

Caruso, founder and president of Edison House, an international consulting firm specializing in corporate and personal development, will be at Aristo’s Banquet Room August 23 from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

“All companies need to stay fresh. Every organization wants its brand wants to be viable. Being viable requires a strong value proposition, good quality products and services, and clever marketing. Staying viable also requires a crystal ball,” said Caruso. “Communication is a huge part of that. Good communication never goes out of style.”

This public professional development breakfast, co-sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Chatham and Chatham Sunrise, is the first time Caruso has given this seminar in the region. Caruso, who has spoken in South America, Asia, the Middle East and 49 of the 50 states, specializes in working with leaders, salespeople and the customer service industry.

”Michael is a great guy – very articulate, down-to-earth, and smart,” Alysson Storey, President of the Rotary Club of Chatham, said in a release. “His seminars sell out across the country, so we are very lucky to have him here in Chatham-Kent sharing his knowledge and expertise with us. The best part – his subject matter can apply to just about anyone. Whatever your job or volunteer position is: the need for good communication is universal.”

All are welcome at this public event. Doors open at 7 a.m. with the event starting at 7:30 a.m. Pre-registration is required via email: info@chathamsunrise.com. Admission is $10 at the door and includes continental breakfast. Aristo’s Banquet Room is located at 307 Grand Ave West.
