A man is in police custody after a break in and theft of booze in Chatham.
Yesterday morning, police responded to Club Lentinas on National Road in regards to a break and enter. Through investigation, police identified the man responsible for stealing approximately $500 worth of liquor and causing $1,000 damage to the building. Yesterday afternoon, police located the man and he was arrested.
The 27-year-old Chatham man has been charged with break and enter and failing to comply with his curfew. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
