A Port Lambton woman is in custody for dangerous driving after trying to run her ex-boyfriend off the road.
Yesterday morning, shortly after 5:00 a.m., a man arrived home in Wallaceburg with a female passenger and saw his ex-girlfriend parked in his driveway. In an attempt to avoid any conflict, the man continued driving. The woman followed him and pulled up next to him in the curb lane on Wellington Street. The woman intentionally swerved left and struck the man’s vehicle. She continued to follow him and struck his vehicle several more times. Eventually, the man lost sight of the woman and reported the incident to police.
Just before 10:00 a.m., police located the woman and she was arrested. The 22-year-old Port Lambton woman has been charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and mischief over $5,000. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
No one was injured.
