Chatham-Kent police made an arrest after a shoplifting complaint at Sportchek on Grand Ave. W. in Chatham yesterday.
At approximately 11:30 a.m., a man was in the store and took a Nike golf club valued at $200. He then left the store, making no attempt to pay for the item, and left on his e-bike.
Through video surveillance obtained from the store the man was identified. He was located last night and arrested for the charges of theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5000. He was released with a future court date of August 5.
