Students and adults alike packed the William Street Cafe on June 10, to support a fundraiser that will help a Syrian refugee family in Chatham.
Grade 12 Equity and Social Justice students at CKSS organized the evening, which raised $1,350. To date, the students have raised more than $4,800.
Their goal is to hit $5,000, and help the First Presbyterian Church reach the $20,000 level to help the family.
