Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a gas thief in Chatham.
On Thursday between 11:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. an unknown man was at Petro Canada on Grand Ave. W. and pumped $100 worth of fuel into his vehicle. The man drove away without paying for the gas.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying the man or vehicle. Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.
