The Chatham Kent public library joined with Zonta Club to hold the Purses with a Purpose fundraiser April 16.
Together they raised more than $3,000 to be split between the two organizations.
Over 30 business and some individuals donated purses for this fundraiser, which took place at the Active Lifestyle Centre in Chatham.
