Just after 6:00 a.m. Saturday, Chatham-Kent OPP responded to a rollover collision involving a Ford SUV on Highway 401 eastbound at Queens Line.

Officers spoke with the female driver of the SUV, who said another person had been driving the vehicle.  After investigating, police discovered that the information provided by the driver was false and that she had been consuming alcoholic beverages.

As a result, the driver, a 20-year-old Chatham woman, has been charged with obstruct a peace officer and impaired driving. She is scheduled to appear in a Chatham court on April 29 to answer to the charges.
