A man is in custody after Chatham-Kent police were called to the scene of a stabbing on Lorne St. just after lunch on Sunday.
They found a male suffering from a small puncture wound believed to be from a knife who was taken to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance and treated for his injuries which were not life threatening.
The accused was located and arrested. The 27 year old Chatham man was charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, and fail to comply with probation. He was later released from custody with a future court date of April 12, 2016.
