It’s spring in Chatham-Kent, and apparently, that’s break-in season.

Sometime Saturday between 4:30 p.m. and 10 p.m., someone slipped into a Baldoon Avenue home, making off with about $3,000 in tools and equipment.

Meanwhile, not everything went missing on the weekend. Police say they received a unique piece of jewelry that was found at the Pioneer gas bar in Blenheim.

The piece is a three-stone white gold ring with an inscription on the inside of the band.

Police would like to get the ring back to its rightful owners.

If you think the ring is yours, or you think you might know the owner, contact Const. Paul Myers at paulmy@chatham-kent.ca.
