A 59-year-old Ridgetown man was charged with stealing gasoline only a few hours after his photo was published by local media yesterday.
A photo of a man filling his truck and several gas cans at the Thamesville Mac’s Milk on Victoria Road February 14 was released by police yesterday morning.
The man, in a small light grey pick-up truck pumped about $153 worth of gas and neither he nor the driver made any attempt to pay for the fuel.
He has been charged with theft under $5000. He was released pending a future court date.
