A 28-year-old Wallaceburg man faces a charge of unauthorized use of a credit card after using money meant for baby formula to purchase computer software.
Police were informed that last night around 5:00 p.m. a woman received $50 in her bank account to purchase formula for her child. By 5:15 p.m. the man had accessed his ex-girlfriend’s bank account through his PlayStation network to purchase software. The $48 transaction was conducted without the woman’s consent.
The man was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a credit card. He was released with conditions pending a future court date of January 26, 2016.
