Two teens face assault charges after a scuffle at a local high school yesterday.

Police say a 15-year-old Blenheim male and a 16-year-old Chatham male were charged after the disturbance at John McGregor Secondary School yesterday.

Both were released into the custody of their parents and face a Jan. 4 court date.

  1. How did this become a police matter? What happened to taking care of school things at school? There were no weapons mentioned and it was a "scuffle" Shake my head, this world is slowly becoming a police state and we just are sitting back and watching…Take Care of Your Own problems at home, school, where ever, teach your children to BEHAVE from a young age! I had corporal punishment in my School Years and I feel like I turned out pretty well! This is so depressing. No one will be self suffecient in the future and its ssad.
