King Street West between Fifth Street and William was closed by police for a time this afternoon after a flatbed 18-wheeler hauling metal construction material jackknifed next to the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce.
Workers on site had to remove the part of the cargo to prevent it from tipping into the area next to the cenotaph.
No injuries were reported and no buildings were damaged.
