Contributions to the Foundation of Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) have allowed the alliance to purchase five new patient monitors for the Emergency Department (ED) at CKHA’s Sydenham Campus.

Valued at more than $105,000, these upgraded patient monitors are essential for optimal care as they provide critical bedside monitoring of a patient’s cardiac and vital signs while under the care of healthcare professionals in the ED.

“We are thrilled to have these new, upgraded, patient monitors in place at the Sydenham Campus,” says Lisa High, Director of Emergency Services, CKHA. “Our old system served us well over the years, but an upgrade was urgently needed.  These new monitors will help us to continue to provide our patients with the best care possible, through timely and accurate cardiac and vital signs monitoring.”
