One man is in hospital following a plane crash just east of the Chatham-Kent airport this morning.
Police say the plane went down in a cornfield about 9:20 a.m.
The pilot was the only one on board, police say, and he was taken to hospital with what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
Transport Canada has been notified of the crash, and police have kept the media and passersby well back of the cornfield.
Police say more information will be released as it becomes available.
