Last night at approximately 7 p.m. officers in Chatham located a male and female party walking in the area of Queen Street. Officers were familiar with the parties and aware of conditions for the two not to associate with each other due to prior criminal offences. The 45 year old Chatham man was arrested and charged with Fail to Comply with Undertaking and the 35 year old Wallaceburg female was arrested and charged with Breach of Recognizance.
Further investigation revealed that the male was in possession of stolen property. He was subsequently charged with Possession of Stolen Property Under $5,000.
Both parties were released from custody with future court dates.
