Mere minutes after police posted photos of a suspected rum thief Chatham-Kent had their man.
Police released images of a man captured on the security cameras at the downtown Chatham LCBO; a man they believed was responsible for stealing two 60-ounce bottles of rum about 2:30 p.m. Thursday.
The images went out to the media shortly before 4 p.m. Officers had the man in custody shortly afterwards.
A 48-year-old Chatham man is charged with theft.
