A commercial vehicle safety blitz in the Blenheim area was a little too successful Thursday.
Chatham-Kent police, along with staff from the Ministry of Transportation, joined forces to inspect commercial vehicles. They inspected 27 trucks and vans, pulling more than a third of them – 11 – off the road for having serious safety infractions, and they also seized three sets of license plates.
A total of 25 charges were laid.
