A Raleigh Township man faces multiple charges after Chatham-Kent police say a man broke into a women’s house and assaulted her Monday.
According to police, a man entered his ex-girlfriend’s home through an unlocked door, and the woman asked him to leave. That’s when he began yelling at her, and then assaulted her, police say.
The woman called 911 and the man fled on foot, but officers tracked him down a short distance away.
A 24-year-old Raleigh Township man is charged with break and enter, assault, and three counts of breach of probation.
