A day after female teens dominated the police blotter in Chatham-Kent, the men stepped forward, and not in a good way.
Police say early this morning they arrested a man wanted for domestic assault.
Last week, a woman contacted police for help, disclosing two incidents of domestic violence, according to police.
As a result, a 47-year-old Chatham Township man is charged with two counts of assault.
Meanwhile, last night in Ridgetown, someone keyed a man’s pickup truck after an argument.
Police say a man reported he’d been in an argument with a woman and her son about a parking spot at a local business, and when he left, he noticed his truck had been keyed.
Officers investigated and believed the son was responsible.

And under “they just don’t listen” category, police say they scooped up a man for violating a restraining order.
Back in June of last year, police say the man had a Family Court restraining order placed against him. He was to stay away from his ex-girlfriend’s residence in Chatham.
Two weeks ago, however, police say the man got into the woman’s backyard, which is fenced, and approached the back door. The man fled prior to police arriving, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Last night around 11 p.m., officers found the man.
