Another Chatham-Kent man faces domestic-related charges.
Police say a couple were at a friend’s home yesterday when they began arguing. The man allegedly used the woman’s cell phone and refused to return it to her.
An announced trip to the cop shop apparently spooked the man. Police say the couple got into her vehicle where he threatened her. The woman then advised him she was driving to police headquarters, and he jumped out of the vehicle.
Officers found the man and he was arrested.
A 25-year-old Chatham man is charged with theft, possession of property obtained by crime, and two counts of uttering threats.
