The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man in connection with a break and enter in Chatham.
On March 14, 2015, police responded to a break and enter at Gentry Manor on Park Street. The scene was examined and evidence was seized for forensic analysis. Last month, police received information from the Centre of Forensic Sciences stating that a DNA profile was generated and matched that of a local man.
Shortly after 6:00 a.m. this morning, the man was located on St. Clair Street in Chatham. The 56-year-old man remains in police custody and will be released pending a future court date.
