The warm weekend weather has apparently kicked local break-ins into another gear.
Sometime overnight on April 18, thieves entered a couple of sheds in the old Orford Township.
On Lawrence Line, the culprits took a power washer and air compressor, while on Pollard line, a 2001 red Suzuki King Quad was stolen.
As well, sometime over the past week, someone got into a shed on Erie Shore Drive, making off with a 2013 John Deere X300 riding lawn mower, as well as a boat trailer.
Two residences in Chatham got hit as well. Police say someone broke into an Adelaide Street South home sometime between 9 a.m. April 18 and 9 a.m. April 19.
The thieves stole jewelry.
Sometime between midnight and 7 a.m., thieves slipped into an unlocked home on Collegiate Drive and stole a couple of wallets, as well as a Canon Powershot camera valued at $300.
