C-K terror hoax suspect in court this morning

A 49-year-old Chatham man has a bail hearing this morning to answer to charges after someone threatened to blow up Parliament.

On Thursday, Chatham-Kent police received a call from the RCMP in regards to the matter. Local police learned a man had called the Library of Parliament, saying he wanted to blow up Parliament as part of a revolution against Parliament Hill.

Chatham cops arrested David Osterbrook, 49 and charged him with hoax – terrorist activity, as well as uttering threats.
