Police scratched a couple of names off their list of outstanding warrants recently.

One man walked into police headquarters and turned himself in this morning after not showing up to court nine months ago. Police say the man was arrested May 30 of last year in connection with a domestic disturbance. He was charged with two counts of assault, assault with a weapon, and uttering threats.

He didn’t show up for his June 13, 2014 court date.

At 6:30 a.m. today, the 45-year-old Chatham man turned himself in.

Meanwhile, a January pot possession charge led to a Feb. 5 court date for which the accused didn’t show. Last night, police found the man and slapped on the cuffs.

A 20-year-old Chatham man has another court date later this month.
