A Windsor woman is facing a whack of charges after the driver of a Nissan Murano failed to move over last week on the 401 as she passed a traffic stop.
The OPP report an officer was conducting a traffic stop on the eastbound 401 near Communication Road Feb. 19 when a Murano zipped by without moving over.
Police pulled the vehicle over and learned the driver was wanted on an outstanding warrant with another police service. A search revealed a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and hydromorphone.
As a result, Jacqueline Wallace, 31, of Windsor, faces two counts of possession, fail to move into another lane for emergency vehicle, and driving on a prohibited roadway for the holder of a G1 licence.
