The reason behind a teenager bringing at knife to a local high school last week was arrested on the weekend.
Police say on Jan. 18, a man threated a teen via Facebook. In response to the threat, the youth brought a knife to school the next day, resulting in his arrest.
Officers were unable to locate the man who allegedly threatened the teen, however. That is, until Sunday. Police found the man on Lacroix Street near Park Avenue West in Chatham.
A 19-year-old of no fixed address is charged with uttering threats.
