For the second time in three days, Chatham-Kent police arrested the same man for the same issue – breaching his release conditions.
Two of those conditions are for the guy to live at a particular address and notify the cops in writing if that address should change.
On Friday, police stopped by to do a residence check. Police say he wasn’t there.
But they tracked the 29-year-old man down shortly thereafter and charged him with two counts of breaching his recognizance.
Just two days earlier, police say the same man was released on a recognizance for – wait for it – breaching his conditions.
Perhaps he can take solace in the fact he’s not alone. Earlier this month, a 31-year-old Chatham man was released on a recognizance with a condition that he had to obey a curfew.
Early this morning, police did another residence check to see if this man was abiding by his conditions. He wasn’t there.
Police opted to follow a taxi on Park Street a few hours later, and arrested their guy as he stepped out.
