Two Chatham men face numerous charges after a pair of domestic assaults on the weekend.
Police say about 3 a.m. Sunday, a man and woman began arguing when it escalated to the point he assaulted her and smashed her cell phone.
A 23-year-old man faces charges of assault, sexual assault and mischief.
Meanwhile, yesterday afternoon, officers responded to a call to learn a woman had been assaulted by her boyfriend. Police say it wasn’t the first time things got violent between the two.
