While it may look nice and sunny in urban areas around Chatham-Kent, the rural roads are suffering through blowing snow today as winds out of the west gust up to about 50 km/h.
Lake effect snow is drifting our way this afternoon as well, but accumulation levels aren’t expected to be serious.
Meanwhile, warmer temperatures and rain are in the forecast for the weekend.
