As the Grade 9s left John McGregor Secondary School Wednesday, they were somewhat replaced by an influx of Grade 8s.
The Grade 9s took part in the annual “Take Our Kids to Work Day.”
More than 170 Grade 8s came in for a taste of high school, as they could attend four classes of their choice to see what the next year will bring them.
Some built their own gumball machines, while others learned Spanish or even baked cookies.
All enjoyed lunch compliments of the restaurant services classes, and receive a JMSS Panther knapsack or water bottle as a keepsake.
