A chilling moment for a woman on Oxley Drive last night, as she was in her bedroom and noticed a man peering through her window.
Police say the incident occurred about 10:30 p.m., and officers identified the man they believed was responsible.
Shortly before midnight, police saw the man headed southbound on Glenwood Drive near McNaughton Avenue.
Police say during the traffic stop, the officer learned the man had a suspended driver’s licence.
But that’s not all. While speaking to the man, the officer detected a strong smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle, police say, and the cop found about two grams of pot in a plastic bag.
A 22-year-old Chatham man faces charges of voyeurism, criminal harassment, driving while under suspension and drug possession in connection with the incidents.
