It’s construction season in Chatham, and look for more of it to crop up in the near future.
Starting Wednesday and likely going into December, crews will begin tearing up parts of McNaughton Avenue West and Sandys Street for water main replacement.
Construction on McNaughton is expected to start near Galbraith Street behind the Nortown Plaza and move westwards. Work on Sandys is slated for near the fire station.
Traffic will be down to one lane on McNaughton in each direction. Expect delays.
