Impaired driver
A 60-year-old Chatham woman faces impaired driving charges after police responded to a call of a possible drunk driver.
Police say an officer found a woman sitting in her car in a driveway, with the engine running. The officer believed the woman was impaired, so she was taken to police headquarters for further breath tests.
Plate problems
A 28-year-old Duart man has a day in court over unauthorized license plates.
Police say an officer spotted a vehicle idling on Duke Street in Chatham yesterday afternoon with only a rear license plate.
The officer looked into it and leaned the one plate wasn’t even registered to the vehicle.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
