Police arrested a Chatham man Sunday morning in connection with a break-in.

On July 17, a man was released from custody with several conditions, one of which said he was to remain in his residence on Colborne Street between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

At about 6:30 a.m. yesterday, police say a Raleigh Street homeowner arrived home to find a red toolbox on his front porch and his front door ajar. Once inside, the homeowner discovered a man snoozing on his couch. He called the cops.

A 31-year-old Chatham man is charged with break and enter and failing to comply.
