The Chatham Junior Maroons Hockey Club and Farm Credit Canada (FCC) invite media and the public to come out and show support for the FCC Drive Away Hunger program by bringing a non-perishable food item to the home game against the St. Mary’s Lincolns on Oct. 5.
All food donated at the game will support the food banks of Chatham-Kent.
FCC Drive Away Hunger is a unique food drive that involves driving a tractor and trailer through communities to collect food and cash donations for food banks across the country. Although Chatham isn’t participating in a tractor tour, the local FCC office has organized this event with the hockey club to help support this year’s campaign.
