A burst water main flooded some business at the Royal Bank Plaza this morning on Keil Drive and forced the temporary closure of five businesses.
Employees noticed a large sinkhole at the rear of the plaza. The Royal Bank has re-opened and other businesses will as soon as damage is repaired.
Tom Kissner, general manager of the Chatham-Kent PUC, said the burst pipe had nothing to do with the $2 million Chatham water tower upgrade that is nearing completion.
Not a fun day in the office.
omg! I am glad no one or no cars got into that sink hole…..!!!
