The Third Street and Fifth Street bridges in Chatham will each undergo a scrub, polish and shine in the coming days.
On July 6 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., crews will be washing the Third Street bridge, meaning there will be alternating lane and sidewalk closures throughout the day.
The same work will be done on the Fifth Street bridge on July 7.
The scrubbing on the Third Street bridge was scheduled for July 4, but has since been pushed back.
