A day out drinking ended in a fight between two acquaintances Sunday, resulting in charges against one.
Police say two 35-year-old Chathamites were drinking together at a local watering hole and went to one of the men’s homes afterwards, where the two started arguing, and one of the men punched the other and threatened him.
Police say the victim received facial injuries and was treated and released at hospital.
On Monday afternoon, police say the other man turned himself into police, and now faces charges of assault and uttering threats.
