An evening accident on Highway 401 sent one man to hospital and debris bouncing down the highway – and off other vehicles – Sunday.
Chatham-Kent OPP said an eastbound Suzuki got rear-ended by a tractor-trailer about 9 p.m., causing it to lose some of its cargo, and injuring the driver.
The driver went to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
But the accidental tap-and-go led to the spilled contents hitting other vehicles on the highway, causing some damage.
Police are continuing their investigation.
